I think I have hit the point in my pregnancy where I am beginning to feel like there is so much I need to learn before I give birth! I have a ton of questions that I need answered. Some questions I need to ask my doctor but some questions I will throw out to all of you moms. Maybe you can answer a few for me.
- What can I do about my aching back? I'm not even big yet and I am always in pain!
- Is is safe to drink herbal tea?
- What are some good exercises I can do?
- Any suggestions for a birthing method? What's the best way to find a local birthing class?
- Any other tips? I will NOT be offended by suggestions. I am new at this and will take all the help I can get! Thanks ladies!!

let's see if I can remember them;
if your back hurts, try a belly band, its like a stretchy piece of velcro-ish that helps hold your belly up so there isn't so much strain on your back, you can get one from a maternity store--also try sleeping with a pillow between your legs, it helps. Good excercise depends on how much you excercised before, but if you haven't at all, just going on walks is great. Ask your OB/GYN for recommendations for a birthing class, they should be able to give you good suggestions for your area and lots of information. Hope that helps! And just a p.s. for you, don't let labor scare you, everything will be fine, even if it is painful, you will get through it and see a beautiful amazing baby, it isn't nearly as horrible as people make it out to be, enjoy the experience. :)
Yes, a belly band should help, depending on where the baby is sitting. I like to take warm baths and just soak. As long as the water isn't too hot. Or you can use a rice bag/heating pad. Walk, walk, walk. Maybe even a little bit of light yoga for stretching and the like. You can always check your hospital's website to see if they offer any birthing classes, otherwise you can ask your doctor. And yes, you can drink herbal tea. It is actually very soothing at times. Hope this helps. I completely understand what if feels like at the moment. If you need anything else, feel free to ask. :)
