As you probably know, our baby boy is coming soon and although we have some ideas, we have not officially chosen a name for him yet. Give us your ideas! Keep in mind, his middle name is definitely going to be Carl. This is Ryan's middle name and his dad's middle name too, so any first name ideas have to go well with Carl.
Also, one of the very last things we need for our baby is some kind of baby carrier. I know that I can choose from a lot of different options such as a sling, a wrap, or a more structured carrier but I need some advice from all of you who have used baby carriers. Let me know which ones you think work best! Thanks for all the great advice!

Baby carriers - the best by far is the ERGO (and I have tried them all). However I did not get the Ergo until Shay was 6 months so not sure if it is good for small infant. I used a bjorn when she was an infant when we were out and about and a sling at home - the BEST sling is The Over The Shoulder Baby Holder - the ERGO is expensive but the best and I still use it sometimes - you can get infant insert. Google the ergo and over the shoulder baby holder to find out where to get them!
I love pouches for babies--they can fold up and fit in your diaper bag! As soon as you pop the baby in, they are asleep! I have a Happy Slings Pouch that I use constantly. Baby bjorns are good newborn/infant carriers, too. Ergos are probably the best, because you can use them like a bjorn and also carry the baby on your back when they're toddlers. Good luck!
P.S. Baby boy names are hard! Do you guys like unique/traditional/family names? I've got one for you: Earl. Don't you just love it? :)
I had a sling for awhile when both my kids were super newborn and I LIKED it (it was kinda bulky for my size and I couldn't figure out how to nurse with it if I wanted to), but would have LOVED one of those wrap-around-hip-sling things (I heard they are much easier to "hide" yourself with!). We also had a backpack deal that was fun when the babies were a little bigger and of course could hold their head up...but really we ended up ditching all that stuff and would just lug the carseat around or take them out and hold them ourselves!! Good luck, especially with name picking!
Corbin. It's been on our baby boy name list for a while. I think it's cute...but we haven't had a middle name to go with it well enough. Corbin Carl? Maybe. I also really like Levi...but have not convinced my husband of it yet.
