Emma Turned 2!

My little sweet Emma is the epitome of “sweevil”. She is the most precious, snuggly, yummy little girl with a crinkle-nose smile, big blue eyes and bouncy auburn curls. She also loves to make mischief and do things she knows she shouldn’t. She’s my wall colorer, toilet splasher, dirt eater sweetheart!

Eating her favorite for breakfast- blueberries and yogurt!

She got to open a few presents in the morning of her birthday when Nana showed up at the door bearing gifts. Nana, Papa, And Leslie came over the next day for another party.

We had a Minnie Mouse party after church with a few friends.

She knew just what to do with her cake and had the candles blown out before even got the cake to the table. Then she was ready to dive right in!

She got a lot of fun presents. I cleaned up and re-painted the wooden cradle that my Grandpa Ward made me when I was little. Emma loves it and I’m so glad she gets to enjoy it since she never got to meet him.

Easter 2014

For once, 2 o’clock church was wonderful! We had a long, lazy Easter morning filled with chocolate and jelly beans. I love having the opportunity to celebrate the love of our Savior with my eternal family!

Nathan Turns 5

I can’t believe my baby is 5 now and starting Kindergarten soon. Where does the time go?

Nathan started his special day with a special birthday breakfast, then we headed to playgroup for the morning.

I think Nathan felt very special and very loved on his birthday this year. He got a special visit from his wonderful primary teacher that afternoon and got to bring treats and wear a birthday crown in preschool the day before.

That night, Nana, Papa, and Leslie came over for dinner, cake, and presents.

We love our sweet, happy, energetic, smart, determined Nathan, who never stops talking, and never stops moving, and never stops thinking, and never stops making us the luckiest parents in the world!

Nathan’s Ninja Turtle Party

To celebrate Nathan’s 5th birthday, we invited some friends over for a Ninja Turtle Birthday Party.

All the kids got to choose a ninja mask to wear, then we played pin the pepperoni on the pizza and practiced our throwing star skills.

Of course we had pizza for lunch- it’s a Ninja Turtle’s favorite food! And you can’t forget the green ooze punch!

Even Emma got a try

For months, Nathan’s only birthday party request has been cake pops- not cake, cake pops. I’ve never really made them before but I love him so I gave it a try. I think they turned out cute, but please! never let me do that to myself again!
