St Patrick’s Day and the Zoo

March is the beginning of the crazy season at our house. We’ve got St. Patrick’s Day, 2 birthdays, Easter, our Anniversary, and Mother’s Day within a 2 month period. Crazy!

Emma and I were out of town on St. Patrick’s Day, so we did things a day late and pretty simple. Nathan spent St. Patrick’s Day with Papa and they did some fun things like making green pancakes and going on a hunt for leprechaun gold.

Emma and I enjoyed St. Patrick’s Day in sunny California.

The leprechauns left us some green treats in the morning.

End or winter/beginning of spring is such a hard time of year for me. My kids get so tired of being stuck in the house. We’ve had a few beautiful days so far this spring and got to spend one of them down at the Point Defiance Zoo with friends.

The monkeys were definitely a favorite. This guy was cracking us up. He and I seemed to have a special connection.

I love the Point Defiance Zoo and I love that after going there for over 20 years, I get to take my kids to enjoy it too!
