You Have the Right to Remain Silent!

Woo hoo! I am 36 weeks pregnant today! I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have been so blessed this entire pregnancy to be in good health and to remain pretty comfortable (considering). It was exciting to go to the doctor yesterday and have her tell me that I could have my baby any time, and they wouldn't stop me. My body is progressing nicely, and of course, I hope to have this baby sooner rather than later! While we were in the waiting room, some woman I don't know turned to me and asked when the baby is due. I told her. Next she said, "I was just like you when I had my first baby. I was really huge." Wow! Thanks a lot. I just love hearing complete strangers let me how large I am. Makes my day every time. Then this creepy man got in on the conversation all the way across the waiting room. I'm just sitting there thinking, "This isn't your business! I don't want to talk to you about my baby and I definitely don't want to talk to you about my baby weight!" Something about pregnancy makes people think they can say whatever the heck they want to you. When else would you ever tell a complete stranger they are huge?! Oh well, I guess this all makes life interesting.

Here's a picture of me at 36 weeks. I am definitely feeling a sudden urge to get all my last minute projects finished, just in case he comes sooner than we expected!

I think you look great too! I can't believe that you still can wear that blue t-shirt.

Yay! You're almost there! And there is something about complete strangers' comments...I think they believe that, since they won't be seeing you again, it's okay to just say whatever they want. I got that a lot, too. Wait until the baby comes and EVERYONE will want to touch him...Hope these last few weeks go well for you. :)
