Emma is so fun at this age!
She loves to sit at our big front window and watch all the cars and squirrels.
She also loves to grab the curtains and play peek-a-boo.
She waves and says “HI!!”
No teeth yet!
No crawling, either. She wants to go and dives after things all the time, but has no idea how to get that chubby body to go anywhere.
She dances whenever she hears music, and sometimes she’ll even sing along.
She has a big appetite!
She still has a funny, little crinkly nose smile. I love it!
Okay, I’m slowly getting through all my posts from 2012 so we can all move on! In other words, this is a post full of Christmas pictures for the Grandparents, and anyone else who cares.
Christmas was a low-key affair and the kids slept in until 8! We spent a leisurely 2 hours opening gifts then headed down to my parents house. It was a lovely, perfect day. The best Christmas I can remember!
Nathan was so, so sweet and opened Emma’s stocking and showed her everything inside before he opened his own.
Santa brought me a huge box of See’s chocolates. Thank you, Santa! (I won’t tell you how long it took to eat them)
Nathan did a great job picking out gifts this year!
Christmas Eve was insanely busy for us, as usual.
It started with Ryan’s birthday breakfast and gifts. I decided to get Ryan 30 gifts for his 30th birthday. He had a lot of fun opening them all up!
I had to include a few gag gifts, and my favorite was this massage race track shirt. It has a race track on the back so all he has to do is lay on the ground while Nathan “massages” him with cars.
Nathan knew just what to do and he ran to get some cars. I might just have to borrow it some time!
Then we headed to my parents house for family pictures since we were all together for a few days.
She really wanted that candy cane!
After that, it was off to Alex and Devan’s house for a birthday buddy lunch (Devan’s birthday is on Christmas Eve too). Alianna and Andy were in town too and we got to meet sweet baby Lyla. This is the only picture we managed to get of all the kids together.
We ended the day with a little party with my family
I (with a lot of help!) managed to cook dinner for everyone, and of course . . . cheesecake!

Who wouldn’t want a chubby baby for their birthday?!
And finally, cookies for Santa, then off to bed!
